CHECKING OUT OF SLOVENIA AND EXPORTING OUR TENDER FOR VAT EXEMPTION, SAILING FROM SLOVENIA, ACROSS THE ADRIATIC SEA TO THE CITY OF LOVE – VENICE ITALY! EXPLORING THE CITY OF VENICE AND THE VENICE CANALS AND SAILING TO MURANO AND BURANO ISLANDS
This week we check out of Slovenia and successfully complete the VAT exemption formalities for our new tender and outboard. We sail from Slovenia across the Adriatic Sea to the most incredible city in the world – Venice! I can’t believe my eyes, this place is incredible and a place we’ve wanted to tick off our bucket-list for some years now and we got to do it with our own sailboat! We stay 2 nights in a marina right across from the main part of Venice with the most incredible views. We explore the city and canals of Venice before making our way to some other popular nearby islands, Murano and Burano. One of these cool little islands being famous for its colourful houses. What a special couple of days exploring this incredible city by boat!
