Sailing from Puerto Rico to the Dominican Republic doesn’t go as planned. Delayed by missing boat parts, sick at sea, no wind, storms, and no fuel.
In this episode, we finally leave Puerto Rico after waiting weeks for a crucial boat part to arrive—but our passage to the Dominican Republic turns into a rough ride. Both of us are sick, the wind completely dies, then the storms hit. Lightning, squalls, zero fuel, and relentless motion have me feeling seasick and questioning everything. This is the side of sailing we don’t usually show—raw, real, and totally out of our control.
