The **Hobie Wave** is one of the most successful beginner catamarans ever built and has introduced thousands of sailors to multihull sailing.

First launched in **1994**, the Hobie Wave was designed by **Morrelli & Melvin** to be simple, durable and easy to sail. With its rotomoulded polyethylene hulls, boomless mainsail and daggerboard-free design, the Wave quickly became the go-to boat for **sailing schools, resorts and beginner sailors** around the world.

But the Wave is not just a training boat.
