What Dinghies are in the Wildwind Fleet

YES! WE HAVE MONOHULLS HERE FOR YOU TO TRY!!

OPTimist
Designed for young sailors up to a weight of 55kgs. The Optimist is the most popular youth boat in the world.
It’s a great choice of boat for kids to learn to sail on – very forgiving, simply and easy to handle.

TERA
more user friendly, comfortable and modern than the Optimist is the RS Tera. This is another youth boat which can easily take sailors of up to 70kgs. It’s very easy to sail, has a sporty feel and comes up dry after a capsize.

QUBA
One of the best boats ever designed for beginners is the RS QUBA. It’s part of the evolution that started with the Laser Pico. The Quba offers much more space in the cockpit so even tall adult sailors will find it comfortable to sail.
The Quba has reletively high aspect foils which make the handling and performance exceptional in this type of dinghy.

ZEST
The RS Zest really is the pinnacle of beginner or fun sailing dinghies. It’s the most recent design from RS, featuring an easier to manage pivoting centreboard and innovative handles on the underside of the hull, making it much more user freindly in the event of a capsize.

LASER
What ever your level of dinghy sailing, the Laser appeals to everyone. Three different sail sizes make the Laser the perfect choice for all sizes and weights of sailor.
The handling is very responsive, and the performance is very satisfying, even in light winds.
When it’s windy, fast reaching a Laser really is some of the best uncomplicated fun that you can have on a monohull.

AERO
The RS Aero has totally redesigned singlehanded monohull sailing to deliver the best possible experience.
Half the weight of a Laser, the Aero gets going in even the lightest wind, with three sizes of rig available it’s a great choice for sailors of all weight.
It really hits the right balance between user freindliness and performance.

100
With it’s ultra modern looks, the RS 100 is a hiking single hander with spinnaker to add a lot of spice to your downwind legs. If you’re an experienced dinghy sailor who relishes a challenge then this could be the boat for you.

FEVA
For youth or lightweight crews, the RS Feva is one of the most fun double handed boats to sail.
She’s got a plastic hull, simple rig – quite similar to the Zest and Quba but the added jib and spinnaker make the Feva a barrel of good times, even single handed if you’re up for the challenge.

200
The most high performance double handed hiking dinghies in the fleet. The 200 appeals to dinghy sailors who enjoy the more technical side of sailing.

2k
Undoubtedly one of the best dinghies for 2 or 3 people at any level. From complete beginners to advanced sailors wanting to refine their skills, the 2000 is a great choice.

Vision
The Vision from RS is very similar in performance and specification to the RS2000, It’s slightly heavier and bigger making it more stable.

29er
The ultimate youth double handed skiff with big spinnaker and trapeze.

500
Available with two different sizes of sail, the 500 is the modern version of a double handed dinghy with spinnaker and trapeze. Being more modern makes the 500 extremely user freindly in all wind strengths.

800
Oh yes. Almost certainly the best of the fleet for the experienced fleet.
The 800 is a double handed skiff with twin trapeze, racks and large assymetric spinnaker.

49er
The Ultimate double handed skiff. If you want the ultimate challenge then this is the one.
