Race 4 of the Silver Fleet at the U.S. Multihull Championships for the Hobie Alter Cup 2025 finally brought the wind we’d all been waiting for — and my best result of the competition!
After a few lighter-air races, the breeze filled in and the Formula Wave came alive. The stronger wind made for fast, physical racing and some incredible downwind runs. This was the first race where everything clicked — good boat speed, confident handling, and a result that felt earned.
Filmed onboard with multicam coverage and live commentary, this video captures the full rush of single-handed catamaran racing when the conditions turn on.
