From the Back to the Front! | Hobie 16 International Finals Day 1
We qualified for the Finals at the Hobie 16 International Championships—and now the competition gets even tougher.
Before racing could begin, every qualified team received matching sails that had to be prepared and rigged. With our new sails fitted, we also take a closer look at Bad Boy 26 and reveal the boat’s features by popular demand.
Then it was time to race in extremely difficult, shifting conditions.
In Race 1, some strong strategy put us third at the first mark. Unfortunately, we couldn’t hold it around the course and eventually finished 19th.
Race 2 began with us back in 19th again—but this time we fought our way through the fleet, made some excellent decisions and completed an incredible comeback to finish THIRD!
