Events and Regattas Coming up for Catamarans

🇫🇷“The French Hobie Cat National Cup”
It’ll take place from 2023 May 18th to 20th in Chatelaillon Plage, a little beach town near La Rochelle on the French Atlantic coast.
It’ll be the first Nationals since 2019 so the organisers are expecting a lot of fully motivated sailors.
The event will take place between 3 islands – a truly spectacular venue.

Specifics races will be organized for Hobie 14, Hobie 16, Hobie 16 with spinnaker, and all other Hobie Cat boats are welcome to race together.

May 26 – 29 : 50th Anniversary Mid Americans Beach Cat Regatta,

Texel june 10th

Channel Islands Regatta – June 10 great racing for Hobie 16s, Tigers and Dragoons

June 19 : Hobie 20 North American Championships : Oklahoma City NOR is now available

Piers race – July 8

🇮🇹HOBIE Multiworlds and Europeans
11 to 21 July : Cesentico Italy
This is going to be World Championships for Hobie 14 and Dragoon classes
And the Hobie 16 European Chamipnships with, as well as the regular Europeans. competition for Youth, Masters and Hobie 16s with spinnakers.
This has to be the hot ticket for Hobie sailors in Europe this summer.

🇦🇹🇪🇺July 18 – 22 : TORNADO European Championships : Achensee Austria
Achensee is a stunning location with Turquise blue water and a sweet thermal wind which boasts force 3 to 4 most days when the sky is clear.

Dart 18 worlds – 30th July – August 4th – Bridlington – Royal Yorkshire YC UK

August 1 : Hobie 17 + 18 North American Championships : Quinalult, WA

🇮🇹August 19 – 25 : TORNado World Championships : Dervio, Lake Como, Italy
Lake Como is one of the most stunning places to sail on the planet. Also boasting a good wind of around 3 to 4 bft on sunny days.

August 22 – 25 Hobie 16 North American Chapionships : Alameda CA

H16 Uk nationals – August 26 – 28 Poole Harbour expecting a good turnout

September 12 : Hobie Wave North American Championships – Syracuse New York – 4 days of quality racing with Professional race management.
Lots of accommodation available – free RV and Camping on site
A great social program
