Three tips: my first Kickstarter Campaign for my sailing channel

Hi! I'm continuing, separate from Season 2, the Pacific Solo Captain's Log, where I will record and upload simple videos about what I am learning. This week I have three tips for those who are thinking of launching their own Kickstarter Campaign. I've just finished my campaign on the platform, and it was a steep learning curve -- as is almost everything about Pacific Solo and the last twelve months! Oh and i made a slight mistake on my handwritten notes I showed regarding the breakdown of 5 dollar backers. In fact there were 11 but the second reference to 5 dollar should have said 1 dollar. Despite asking many people to sponsor 1 dollar, most chose higher amounts and only four chose one dollar. You can tell I am a tad confused when reading my own notes lol Please stay tuned for the next Season 2 episode, which is is coming next week, where I am preparing for my first multi-day voyage along the Japanese Coast. Meet Chiharu. She's 91, full of life, and leading Radio Taiso in a Tokyo park. Family, friends and passing strangers join in. No invitations needed. Just a little morning exercise and the Art of Community in action. Chiharu joined Stuart Spencer of AIA and me for a day of filming about longev...

Nagano is stop three of Leg Two of my Top Ten and Bottom Three journey, guided by the True Longevity Index (TLI)™. The Unexpected power of Yamanashi’s Deep-Earth Water 🌍 #japan #health #longevity

Yamanashi is one of the 13 prefectures I am visiting this autumn on my Top Ten and Bottom Three journey, guided by my True Longevity Index (TLI)™. The TLI tells me where to go. Once I arrive, I read, watch, listen and follow the clues. Here, one of those clues is water. Yamanashi treasures the soft,...

Shizuoka Keeps Surprising Me #longevity #japan #healthylifestyle

I’m on Leg Two of my journey through Japan’s Top Ten and Bottom Three longevity prefectures, and Shizuoka keeps giving me reasons to stop.
