After waiting out a storm on anchor in Minerva Reef, we set off toward New Zealand — but a drastic shift in the forecast, rough seas, and a vicious counter-current quickly turned this into one of our most challenging passages yet. With another storm closing in, we were pushed to make tough calls under pressure.
