Very exciting video for you here guys. Our 4th Gift of Cruising will be a five-day offshore adventure sail from Pensacola to Miami with Phillip and I on s/v Libra to attend the Miami Boat Show, boat show tickets included. Super cool, right? We will depart February 10th and sail to the show. I will be speaking at the show (so you can come heckle me!) and Libra will be IN the boat show so you can come walk the docks, tour her and meet Phillip and I while you are there. $500 Patron reward level will make this happen. If you would like to go ahead and book this passage to make the trip with us, feel free! We would be excited to have you! www.saillibra.com “join a sail” Thank Captain Ryan with SailLibra for this generous donation as well as my many Patrons who make these Gifts of Cruising possible. Get inspired. Get on board at www.patreon.com/havewindwilltravel.

Our Journey
Six years now Phillip and I have been sailing and sharing here at HaveWind, and—now, especially with our first Atlantic Circle complete!—we’re often asked where all we have traveled by sailboat. Well, this should explain it! A six-year HaveWind animated-footage timeline as well as a graphic. Chec...
Shipyard Vid 3: New Coupling & Rot Repair
Calling all boat project fanatics, this one’s for you! Boy, did we have a time trying to get our engine aligned. While Phillip and I knew we had some kind of issue going on with our prop shaft, the key that fits in the shaft (which was always coming out and we were hammering back in, brilliant plan!...
Shipyard Vid 2: Removing the Quadrant & Replacing the Cables
Maybe they should change that B.O.A.T. saying to “bonded or about to.” The hardest part of our rudder drop was getting the stinking quadrant off! Heat, impact, cheater bars, nothing would work. So, the creative guys at www.perdidosailor.com had to come up with a different fix, and boy did they! ...
