Departing Fourche we leave Great Northern Peninsula crossing to La Scie on Cape St John.
Leaving the La Scie town dock we round Cape St John and enter Nippers Harbour 35 miles away, our first stop in Notre Dame Bay, where we relax and enjoy some excellent walking trails.
From Nippers another day sail takes us to Triton Harbour, between Pilley’s and Triton Island.
Leaving the anchorage at Triton its 20 miles east to anchor behind Gillespie Island in Fortune Harbour.
Exiting Fortune against a strong Atlantic swell we sail to Ship Run then into the protection of the Bay of Exploits, to anchor in Sivier Island’s Western Harbour, 25 miles away.
An idyllic 10 mile sail under spinnaker takes us to our final destination of this year’s journey, docking and then hauling out at bustling Lewisporte Marina.
