Summer days stretch toward nearly perpetual light as we sail from Kerrera in Scotland’s West Highlands across The Sea of The Hebrides, anchoring off the white sands of Vatersay. Castlebay Marina offers fine dining while South and North Uist have wild ponies, and quiet walks & anchorages.
We make an idyllic crossing of The Minch to anchor off Skye’s Dunvegan Castle and then cross to Berneray in The Sound of Harris. We visit the sea birds of the Shiant Isles, then sail north to dock at Stornoway, the Hebridean capital, and finish up our Hebridean visit road tripping on Harris and Lewis.
