Newfoundland Circle Part 3 – 3 Sailing Newfoundland’s Central East Coast

Arriving at Seldom Come By in a thunderstorm, we stop to explore the workings of their FU – Fisherman’s Union museum and cod liver oil factory, before crossing Hamilton Sound into compact Lumsden Harbour, where we’ll spend a day walking miles of gray sand on Deadman’s Bay.
From Lumsden we round Cape Freels, crossing the great bay of Bonavista, to tie up in Bonavista Harbour from where we’ll travel by car to Elliston, and visit the Puffin colony there.
