Dogs, boats, and high tides

Getting the dogs on and off the boat at high tide can be quite a production,
We walk them in pairs so everything we do has to happen twice.

They are all aging and have mis-judged the distance once or twice,
no jumping by yourself.

Of course the best part is getting Mesha on the boat.

We have a ramp for the stairs that will even hold me.
It lets everyone except our Italian greyhound come up to the cockpit on their own.

At low tide the dogs can just walk off the boat, but when the water rises, it takes quite a bit of effort.

We also have to be careful what we leave in the galley, since one of our whippets, Pudgy Penny, will do the dishes for us.

Zoya, our borzoi, doesn’t really need the ramp to go up or down
