CRF: The hatch repair you didn't see
From the cutting room floor!
In this week's video we DIY'd the heck out of some hatches and refurbished them instead of replacing them. What you didn't see was a small "repair" of sorts to an aft cabin hatch. The screw heads had broken off of one of the friction hinges allowing a slow leak when it rained. We used some pliers to back the studs out, silicon-sealed the hinge mount, and put new stainless steel screws back in. NO MORE LEAKS!!!

Now we’ve really jumped off the deep end (pun definitely intended) and are taking on our biggest challenge yet- we are setting out on a circumnavigation of the globe in our 45' sailboat with our four dogs as unwitting accomplices. This new adventure promises to shape and mold our lives in ways we’ve only imagined. We invite you to follow along with us as we turn the page on this new chapter. And don’t worry- while you are starting in the middle of our story, you, my friend, have the benefit of skipping right to the best chapter!
