Free power and unlimited water on the UK's canals? As sailors on the open oceans, we lived completely independently. We created our own power and produced our own water. It was a lifestyle we've been wanting to replicate on the canals of the UK, and now that we're continuous cruisers, we have achieved this. In fact, we are producing so much power we don't know what to do with it, and so much water we can shower every day - not that we do! We do all of this as we continue eastwards along the Stainforth and Keadby Canal towards the River Trent.
Along the way, we encounter Maud's Swing Bridge, which appears to be broken, and the Crook O’Moor Swing Bridge at Medge Hall before tying up at Groves Farm. We take in some incredible scenery that truly highlights British nature at its best. Jamie begins a new little photography project called Canalside Impressions, using an old Nikkor 85mm f2 vintage lens.
