We’re proud to say we reassembled the interior in the same amount of time that it took to disassemble it! We’re pushing towards becoming a sailboat again and turning this now floating boat into our home. Every panel, screw, bolt feels like a win and we’re loving it.
Some small wins this week – we found the engine key and got it to start…finally. Took a combination of cleaning all the connections, topping off the batteries, and tapping on the starter solenoid (probably all that was really needed after sitting so long).
Also we now have running water! The zip-tied relay trick is only so reliable and will need to be replaced asap because if you even look at it wrong it disconnects. Just begging to start smoking or something sketchy.

Here’s what we *think* we know about her past. Keep in mind we bought her at auction without ever meeting the owner! The owner was sailing along and ran aground – hard. Hard enough that the keel pivoted and pushed the aft end up into the hull. This force cracked the internal grid in several places and broke a portion of the grid free from hull.
