We went spearfishing and crabbing in the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas but strong currents and windy conditions made it a hilarious challenge! Watch us hunt for lobster and fresh fish over gorgeous reefs, switch to shallower spots closer to shore, and then try land crabbing at low tide — complete with a lost glove, strong currents, a clam vs crab mix-up, and plenty of laughs.
In the end we speared a beautiful big fish and finished the day with a beach bonfire cookout, cooking fresh fillets over an open fire with homegrown herbs, sweet potatoes, and backup hot dogs. This is real sailing boat life: spearfishing fails and wins, foraging for dinner, and simple off-grid living at its best.
