Welcome back! Thanks for checking out episode 3. We start off with an awesome beach dive at Hanauma Bay in Oahu. Hanauma Bay is a beautiful nature preserve, snorkel and dive spot, and was voted the #1 beach in the U.S. for 2016! We had a beautiful dive with a baby turtle and lots of other cool critters including an octopus, dwarf moray, and a Triton’s Trumpet snail. Unfortunately we also encounter a huge net tangled in the reef which we were able to remove.
After our 96 minute dive, we began an absolutely stunning drive up the east coast of Oahu to the North Shore. We check out some beautiful scenery, eat lots of tasty treats, “help” carve a humpback whale out of a tree with a chainsaw, check out Nate’s old stomping grounds, and enjoy a perfect sunset at Sunset Beach and watch some amazing surfers in action. Get ready for a wild ride 🙂
