COVID-19 has now been labeled a PANDEMIC. Schools and workplaces are shutting their doors. Businesses are staying closed. Governments are calling for curfews, closed borders, and travel restrictions. Stores are running out of toilet paper. The stock market is plummeting. We have quarantined ourselves to our sail boat, and the Bahamas have just joined the list of countries declaring a state of emergency. What are we going to do?
As this all unfolds, we realize that in prepping for out multi-year sailboat trip, we’ve also actually prepared ourselves for the worst of scenarios. Here’s a look at how we’ve readied ourselves for CORVID-19 (and other emergencies) and what the crew of S.V. Temptress plans to do if things take a turn for the worst and we have to bug out.
