We, the Dutch Sailing Family, are sharing our life as we sail around the World. In 2022 we bought our dream boat, a used Lagoon 420, gave up our land life, and started living on the sea. We hope to circumnavigate the earth, and we look forward to sharing our adventures with you, as well as helping anyone else with the same dream to make it happen! We love adventurous sports such as kitesurfing, kitefoiling and paragliding, so expect to see a lot of that on the channel too. In this video we sail on our Lagoon Catamaran from Kalkan in Turkey, to the Butterfly Valley, Oludeniz, the Gocek Bay, Kucuk Kuruk, ending up in Marmaris.
We go through a pretty hefty storm in Fethiye where lots of boats, including us, dragged anchor.
We also replace a batten in our main sail and show you how we put it back in place. Enjoy episode 38 of the Dutch Sailing Family!
