Qatar Rail opened the Doha Metro Gold Line to the public officially on Thursday 21st of November 2019. Ultimate Freggle went on a ride with the metro in Qatar from al Wakra station to Villaggio for a special mission. Check out what the Doha Metro Gold line looks like and which stations are now available in Qatar!
The stations on the Doha Metro Gold Line are:
– Ras Bu Abboud
– Qatar National Museum
– Souq Waqif
– Msheireb (Change over between Gold and Red line here)
– Bin Mahmoud
– Al Sadd
– Joaan
– Al Sudan
– Al Waab
– Sports City
– Al Aziziyah
The Doha Metro opening times are
Saturdays to Thursday 06:00 – 23:00
Friday 14:00 – 23:00
Doha Metro ticket prices
A single journey ticket costs 2 QR
A day pass costs 6 QR
A travel card costs 10 QR without any credit. Credit can then be topped up.
