Exploring Lizard Island - Is this Australia's very best of the Great Barrier Reef - S3 Ep 77
After a fabulous few days in Lizard Island’s Mermaid’s Cove we move around to Watson’s Bay to continue our love affair with this glorious sailor's haven, The trek up to the island’s summit where Captain James Cook climbed in 1770 to look for a safe passage to steer the Endeavour through the reefs provided unbelievable views in all directions while the golden sand beach and crystal waters were a delight.
All things come to an end though and we tear ourselves away to continue our journey north with a stop at Ingram island before sailing on to Stanley Island in the Flinders Group. We hope you enjoy the sunshine and sailing.
