Planning an ocean passage? Every year more than 200 boats cross the Atlantic with the ARC – Atlantic Rally for Cruisers. Before the start each ARC boat must pass a safety inspection, and we filmed the process for Distant Shores. Here’s the extended cut of this segment. Lots of good safety hints whether or not you are participating in the ARC.
