We are back to episodes showing sailing the 1000 Islands. This episode was from the end of last season. Episodes from the Annapolis Sailboat Show and the TransAtlantic Passage seemed more time sensitive so all of the last third of the 2017 sailing season got left to edit into episodes, until now.
It’s just as well. The spring here has been like winter. We still have some snow showing !! So no boat prep work has been done yet so it look like there will be a late start to the 2018 sailing season. So we will be able to publish these episode which will go right into the start of the 2018 footage.
This episode we showcase our new outboard motor for our dinghy. We have always just had an electric trolling motor, but now that we are on some really big water, we need our dinghy to be like our car to get around and an electric trolling motor, just doesn’t have enough range to allow us to explore the 1000 Islands. It was a great upgrade.
