SHE CRASHED IT!!! Sailing the Virgin Islands – Chase the Story 23
We sailed Cheeky Monkey into St. John in the US Virgin Islands with a mission to run the 8 Tuff Miles road race and also to finally get our Swellpro Splash Drone off the ground and flying!
The drone was a bit of a disaster but the running around St. John was a blast! Sure, this is a sailing channel but we like to get off the boat now and then to do crazy things like run around islands and try to fly our drone without crashing into anything or anyone. Sometimes we’re successful…sometimes we’re not.
Either way, I hope you enjoy our land adventures as well as our sailing escapades!

Within 2 years of buying the new boat, the couple got divorced, Tasha got her Captain's license and US Sailing Instructor's certification and started teaching women to sail in the Caribbean. When pandemic hit, Tasha went back to Lake Tahoe, CA and during lockdown started teaching Women's Sailing courses on Lake Tahoe, CA.
