Hi Everyone - We are a couple who gave it all up to be free of ‘day to day expectations and routines’ we as people grow up to believe is a ‘normal lifestyle’. The sea makes us feel free, so we followed the dream to move home from our farm in South Africa to a sailing vessel, a catamaran we call IMPI - and IMPI has been our floating home covering much of the globe over the past 10 years sailing full time. We are about INSPIRATION AND POSITIVE VIBES and much of what we do and share is about YOU, the viewers - OUR MISSION to interact with you all and make ourselves available to assist you as you make your dream become reality. We share beautiful places, beautiful people, our lifestyle and of course, for sailors, ANIMAL WELFARE, we share a ton of sailing experiences the world over, and we drop tips into many of our videos showing how we read weather at sea,how we navigate safely, how we maintain our boat and more. Remember Moose the abandoned island dog … he features in this movie after a family recently visited him bringing footage to Impi to share their experiences.
But first, this channel is the Cat Impi channel – a couple, Brent and Ana sailing around the world on their catamaran.
Here we are sailing into the beautiful island of Ile Des Pins here in New Caledonia … this is truly representative of ‘Islands of paradise in the Pacific ocean’.
Sadly Ile Des Pins is also the island where the shooting of dogs occurs and we interview a lady in this movie who has set up a campaign to stop this practice – there is no graphic footage here except to make people aware and hopefully become involved with this cause as you all did with Moose the abandoned island dog.
