Here is the first flight tests of the newest version, the SplashDrone AUTO PLUS model:
You can throw your new “MARINER” Waterproof Drone in the water, and it will survive! Not only that, you can take-off, land, fly around, and even film from your waterproof drone when equipped with a GoPro camera in the watertight housing!
These tests were shot in Cane Garden Bay off our sailboat ‘Sophisticated Lady’ while at anchor in the bay.. located on the island of Tortola, in the beautiful British Virgin Islands!
Be sure and stick around for the second section of the video with the best aerial scenes filmed with a GoPro Hero3 on a 2D Gimbal.. all filmed at high frame rates for smooth slow motion and set to the famous “Blue Danube” waltz from the epic 70’s era film, “2001 – A Space Odyssey”. Hope you enjoy, and for more info on the Mariner, contact us directly at [email protected]
