Exploring LONG BEACH Harbor in California

In this video Morgan and I head over to Tequila Jacks which is a staple in long beach! Yet some how neither of us have been there before. We walk over from the boat to the restaurant and unfortunately we didn’t realize that we were walking in the bike lane for about 5 mins. Once we saw we were on the wrong side we made sure to move over! After we walked to the restaurant we were joined by one of my buddies who lives in long beach for lunch and his name is Drew! Fun Fact he plays a pirate captain! We all loved tequila jacks, 10/10 would recommend stopping there next time you’re in long beach! I also heard they have great taco Tuesdays! We then went to some of the shops and heard the live music! they have live music all over long beach so that was pretty cool! The shops were a bust I wanted some cool pirate stuff but we didn’t find anything worth getting. Morgan and I head back to the boat and it got HOT it was like 90 degrees outside so we set up the dometic battery to the inverter to plug in some fans outside to try to cool off. It helped a little! Then her ride came and picker her up so unfortunately she left! After that I pulled out the drone and got some beautiful shots of the harbor at night and then surprise! Fireworks! someone must have been celebrating something! The mornings are beautiful and after a great night sleep I woke up and got the boat open and made breakfast! Then I walked to the vons to get some more eggs and a few other things I wanted for the rest of the trip. Have you ever seen that south park episode where the scooters are EVERYWHERE? thats what its like in long beach lol! After getting provisions I head back to the boat and get it ready to sail to Newport. I stop and. the fuel dock and almost forgot that I had the fuel tank key so I had to go return it! The dock guy was very nice and funny! In the next video it will be the best sailing day Ive ever had! Sailing from long beach to newport! The best wind I cant wait to share it with you all!
