We have the best sailing of our entire journey in the Arctic — perfect wind, calm seas, and breathtaking scenery we arrive at Trinity Harbour and go ashore… only to be attacked by Arctic terns.
Svalbard has many places going a shore and explore and just leave the dingy on the shore and cross your fingers the polar bears won't be curious and take a bite of the dingy. I hasn't happened to us, but it's stories being told that makes ju watchful.
