In this week’s episode of Boating Journey, we continue our Florida road trip and head to the charming town of Mount Dora, nestled along the beautiful Lake Dora.
We stayed at the historic Lakeside Inn, one of Florida’s oldest continuously operating hotels, and soaked in its vintage charm. Our adventure included strolling through downtown Mount Dora, filled with eclectic shops, local restaurants, and vibrant street life. We also attended the Mount Dora Blueberry Festival, a must-experience for fruit and fun lovers!
The highlight of our trip? A relaxing pontoon boat cruise through the Dora Canal, known as the "Venice of Central Florida." We explored Lake Dora and surrounding waterways, spotted wildlife, and caught breathtaking sunsets.
