The Cape Dory 28 Trawler might be the Perfect Pocket Yacht. It is also BoatFools very first exclusive powerboat review! And I am happy to report that while we loved this boat, we're still sailors at heart. And, to be fair, this is a Cape Dory powerboat - a classic 28-foor flybridge trawler - so she has sailboat DNA. And she is perfect for coastal cruising - or maybe even take her down the ICW? This pocket yacht is for sale and the seller is asking $54,000 - and that includes all the gear, including the 8-foot Puffin dinghy. She has a Volvo diesel engine that cranks out 200 HP pushing the cruising speed to 14 kts.
