With our first real Maine Sailing Adventure, we may have inadvertently started an annual Boatfoolapalooza Cruise... Our first extended sailing adventure of the summer with our first nice stretch of weather: 5 boats, 4 days, 3 nights. We tested out some new gear provided by Hollyland - a pair of Solidcom 1 headsets. I have hearing loss and wear hearing aids, but not when I am sailing (I am terrified of losing one or both - as they are very expensive!). So these headsets could be ideal - so we test them out in all types of scenarios - some fun, some very practical and useful. We give them a rigorous workout and provide an unbiased, honest report at the end of the show on how they performed. In short, they are amazing. Links are provided below. Check them out! We saw some amazing places, including a new spot for me that I had never been to before - and it lived up to the hype!

Here is where we went: Night 1 - anchored off Stimpson Island in the Fox Island Thoroughfare; Night 2 - anchored between McGlathery Island and Round Island; Night 3 - picked up moorings in Perry Creek, Vinalhaven. Come along and enjoy the show.
