A Newly Completed Traditional Yacht in 2026? | Eastsail All Weather 25 | Full Tour
Welcome back BoatFools Nation!
Today Captain Kew and I tour BLACK MAGIC, a newly completed Eastsail All Weather 25—a traditional full-keel cutter-rig sailboat professionally finished in Maine in 2025. Designed by renowned naval architect Eliot Spalding and completed by respected Maine boatbuilder Paul Rollins, this compact offshore-capable cruiser combines classic yacht design, modern Garmin electronics, a Beta Marine diesel engine, and exceptional craftsmanship into a remarkably capable pocket cruiser. She's not inexpensive, but she is built to last. ASKING PRICE: $249,900.
Built on the proven Eastsail 25 hull, BLACK MAGIC has been transformed into a compact cruising sailboat that feels like a much larger yacht. With her clipper bow, wineglass stern, full keel, wooden bowsprit, full bulwarks, and raised doghouse, she embodies the timeless appeal of a traditional yacht—while offering the reliability and convenience of a brand-new vessel.
Despite her manageable size, BLACK MAGIC is equipped for serious cruising. Her Garmin electronics suite, radar, AIS, autopilot, diesel heat, refrigeration, enclosed head, and quality sail inventory make her ready for coastal cruising, singlehanded adventures, or extended offshore passages.
If you've been searching for a traditional sailboat, bluewater cruiser, pocket cruiser, offshore sailboat, or full-keel cruising yacht, this may be one of the most interesting new boats we've featured on BoatFools Sailing.
