Our time alone has come to an end. When we are exploring each new island, we learn something different every time. As travelers, we try to stay open to hear the different cultures and traditions. You can never understand where someone is coming from, until you hear their story first hand. A lot of things we don’t agree with, but we have a different perspective than those that have grown up with a different culture.
We are completely moved 99% of the time by the kindness and beauty of the island way of life.
We sail around to Bequia and do a lot of exploring. First, we start at the old fort. Second, we visit the turtle nursery. Third, we visit the whaling museum and just by chance our tour guide has a direct connection with the whaling tradition. Then we do a bit of free diving to see what’s surrounding the bay.
