This turned into a very sad week on the dock. But first let us say that we did get quite a few things ticked off the list at the beginning of the week.
The rudder was bent so we managed to get it fixed and reinstalled. Our second sea trail was very successful! We filled up on fuel and are slowly getting ready for departure.
Then a plane crashed into the anchorage. It hit one of our friends boats and sank to the bottom of San Juan Bay. Davy was first in the water with scuba but with terrible visibility it made it extremely difficult to find the plane. There is no happy ending to this story.
This weeks video is dedicated to the three men who were on the plane. The mechanic who managed to escape before the plane sank and the two men who lost their lives.
It is also dedicated to everyone at the marina who acted quickly and got to the scene to see if they could aid the crew!
