We upgrade our anchor to the Mantus M2 and also add the Mantus Swivel to the chain. We have purchase a few thing from Mantus Marine over the year like the rail clamps to mount our grill, the anchor snubber and our dinghy anchor. After watching the comparison videos on YouTube we decided to give Mantus a try. The Mantus M2 was designed to work with boats that have a bow sprit so we chose it over the M1. Phillip, Greg and Angela have been very helpful and friendly to work with and if you visit Mantus Marine’s storefront in Houston expect to be greeted by Flukie their big friendly dog.

Starting West but again weather
We leave Bradenton to continue our journey west but weather forces us to divert to Port St Joe.
Kicked out of Key West
We are forced to leave Key West with a cold front approaching. One day of great sailing followed by two more in rough seas. Follow our journey as we bring Bad Kitty back from Grenada to our home in Texas to finish her refit.
Our Inverter failed
One day out from Key West our inverter melts down. We will have to continue without AC power.
