OUR BIGGEST PROJECT YET! - Removing our diesel engine | AHOD 21
Hi all!
When we bought Magic Dragon, we knew that the engine ran but was in rough shape. After consulting with several mechanics and a surveyor, we decided to pull the trigger and do a complete repower of the boat.
Originally, we placed an order for a brand new 85 HP Yanmar, but that order got delayed time and time and time again. After being delayed nearly six months, we canceled the order and opted to purchase a rebuilt 110 HP 4JH Yanmar.
That rebuilt Yanmar is ready, but first we have to remove the old Perkins and get the engine room ready.
