A2A- Journey of a Wooden Boat - Bonus Content: Limited Edition Planking Party T-shirt 2020

As promised, we are starting our planking party today and to celebrate that we are putting out our favorite limited edition tshirt to date! If you enjoy the videos and would like to support in a way where you also get a great gift for yourself or someone you know would enjoy it, this is a great way to do so.

Orders for the t-shirts will be taken for the next two weeks via Bonfire. So that means starting today, March 16th until the 30th. Once the orders are all taken, Bonfire will send that to the printers and the shirts will ship straight to the address you give them shortly after that! (Somewhere around April 8th and 17th)

The design was drawn by our friend Scott Ouderkirk at the channel Glass Goat. He came by a while ago and took a picture of Arabella and reimagined her with planking on and Akiva sitting by her side. A perfect design for this time!
Not only does Scott have a knack for the artistic, he is also working on a new YouTube series called the Wooden Boat Experience where he is going to be restoring a couple of old wooden boats, messing around in some beautiful old wooden boats and exploring the thousand islands region of the Saint Lawrence in New York.
You can check out his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGYcRPQKqUg&t=109s
and his website here: https://www.glassgoat.com/

And as always thank you so much for all your support! We are so excited to share videos of the next three weeks with you!

Acorn to Arabella is a boat building project taking place in Granby, Massachusetts. Steve and Alix started as amateur boat builders building their own 38′ wooden boat in their backyard: designer William Atkin’s Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel’s gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and beyond—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project will continue well past launch, when they will travel and learn to cruise aboard the boat that they’ve built. Just kidding about all that, this channel is about a Siberian Laika named Akiva.
