In the almost two years we've owned Turtle, we have been through 3 hurricanes and a bunch of storms over 40 knots of wind.

At last, after 6 months (3 months more than expected), we LEAVE CHARLESTON!!!! We cleared up the last of the big projects and started to head South.

Post Hurricane Ian, we jump right back into the massive galley remodel. We make an incredible amount of progress including making a FORBIDDEN CAKE of foam!

Just as we start to get traction on projects, we have to stop all work and get Turtle back into Battle Mode!

We dive deeper into completing the big galley refit by getting the new sink all set in so that we can install the faucets and run all the lines.

We've been away for a bit because of health reasons but we're back! We take a trip to New Jersey to visit family.

Our freshwater system has been a mess since we got Turtle and we are very very excited to switch the whole system over to PEX and Aqualock (Seatech) system.

Part 2 of our galley remodel is our countertop. We take off the old laminate and sand off the countertop and then tackle the replacement of our sink.
