In the middle of nowhere I fall in with another westbound sailboat! But they just sail right on past. Whatever happened to the days of stopping for a gam, swapping stories of great whaling exploits and scantily clad Tahitian women? A few rain squalls supply me with some oh so precious fresh water. The brisk winds of the past week get progressively lighter.
