Textile strongpoints are light strong cheap and easy to adapt to specieal needs.
Working with composite sandwich construktion even wood and in general. A general rule is to spread out the forces as much as possible.
Here I use polyester rope in NM-epoxy. I make a zeppelin loop knot and cut it getting four “legs”
To make the rope flatter a good idea is to remowe the core.
Soak the rope in epoxy. Put the “legs” flat like “feets” on the surface.
Cover with unidirectional fiber for best results, Weavs works but unidirectional is better.
Epoxy have two weak points: peeling and heat. Make sure that peeling cannot ockour by either drilling a hole in the surface or cover every piece of the “feets” with unidirectional.
