We finally get our lives set up well enough to head out into nature in search of ways to feed ourselves! We collect salmon berries, nodding onions, try our hand at crabbing and tell you a little bit more about how we have gathered the knowledge we have.

We finally start to make our way north through Seymore Narrows and on to Handfield Bay after a couple of changes in plan, where we forage for berries and make a tasty meal from food some food grown on the boat!

After plugging our chain locker holes, we leave the dock in Cowichan Bay and head south to Finalyson Arm where we anchor up, light our wood fire place (cubic mini grizzly) for the first time, and just enjoy the incredible beauty that this area of the world...
