Welcome aboard!⛵️🌞We’re Linn, Erik, and our little dachshund skipper Nora, and we’ve just begun our biggest adventure yet: sailing from Sweden to the Mediterranean!
This is our second leg south, and we kicked it off by celebrating a traditional Swedish Midsummer on the island of Harstena. An idyllic, magical place that gave us a true taste of summer. 🇸🇪
But the idyll doesn’t last… As we continue sailing south toward Västervik, we get hit by a powerful squall, with winds reaching up to 50 knots and thunder rolling all around! ⛈️
Luckily, we made it through and were rewarded with better sailing days ahead. Along the way, you’ll also get a glimpse into our everyday life living on a boat with a dog, exploring Sweden’s beautiful coastline, and learning how to manage liveaboard life.

In 2026, Swedish sailors Linn and Erik live full-time aboard their Beneteau Oceanis 45 on the French Riviera with their miniature dachshund, Nora. Having resigned from corporate careers in Stockholm, they successfully navigated the Baltic Sea, English Channel, and Atlantic Iberia to reach the Mediterranean. The crew manages their own digital cruising guide business while documenting the technical realities of off-grid sailing, cross-border yacht upgrades, and extensive offshore passage making.
