Today its an early start for the journey from Burnham Marina on the river Crouch, northwards to the Blackwater and Bradwell Marina.
Most people when they make this journey head well off shore to the Whitacker beacon, cut through the Swin Spitway then head back westwards and in shore.
This time however we take the inshore route, through the Ray channel. It turned out to be a great sail…. this is what happened
