Season 8 : Hawaiian Adventures : Episode #212
On this weeks video I get my custom stainless steel tangs back from the fabricator here in Honolulu and dive on the boat to complete the jury repair of Triteia’s broken rudder. Thanks to Sarah for handing me everything I needed and being dock support as well as filming.
The repair took a total of 3.5 hours and gave me a new found respect for old timey shipwrights. Hammering under water is very hard work and using a hand drill while scuba diving was not a skill I can say I had before this project.
Now Triteia is ready for more adventure with her frankenstein rudder!
