After spending the past few days battened down and riding out a series of storms, it is time for a road trip to one of the most spiritual places we have ever visited, Cape Reinga. Cape Reinga is the most spiritual place for the Māori in New Zealand and the drive through the Northland portion of the North Island, New Zealand, makes for a spectacular road trip. We spend five hours driving our old Rent-A-Dent car through the beautiful and changing landscape of the Northland before arriving at the place where the spirits of deceased loved ones depart the islands for the afterlife and Hawaiiki-A-Nui. So come along and take a ride with us!
