I am planning a big change, but the forward deck hatch interferes. I try to make a hatch that can open left and right. It have hinge 180°. I had a similar design on Aluminum – Bris that I built in the late 1970-s but it did hinge less than 90°.
We see I will not have my eyes in my pockets, a new solution may come up.
Besides hinged deck hatches have the disadvantage that when you close them spray that have collected in the hatch get inside the boat when you close them.
