This new idea I am satisfied with.
The 8 mm polyester rope partly saturated with NM-epoxy makes a very strong rod. The non saturated part is a rope flexible that can bends to go below the deck. The rope in the carbon reinfrced PVC tube behaves like hydrolics and pushed the rod against resistance if needed.
With two rod one can act like a hinge but that is more complicated and it is not often thes lockers will be opened.
By cutting the lids out with the saw set at 45° I have a stop so only one rod in the middle is needed. That experiment is under way and cures during the night.
