Final preparations before our first ocean voyage!
In this episode we are becalmed in northern France, so take the opportunity to haul out Maalie and clean the hull. Whilst we have the opportunity we tend to some vital maintenance by re-packing the stuffing box, and finally replacing the Jabsco water pump on the engine. Solène's mum joined us and lent a hand with a paintbrush, whilst we intently watch the weather forecast for a window to cross the Bay of Biscay.
